Landmark publication "Pedelecs & E-bikes" came to the secret lineup reveal earlier this winter. Hosted in a remote castle in Germany, Georg Baur was one of our guests: his 15 years of experience in e-bikes make him uniquely positioned to confirm our ambition: does Max really ride like a full-size bike?
"As a result of our short trip to Krickenbeck Castle near Nettetal, we gained a positive impression of both the Ahooga team and, of course, the folding bikes that will soon be available. We learned that the people behind the brand are passionate about their products and trust them even in challenging situations (gravel races in Rwanda, but also often simply in European cities). The qualities demonstrated in the presentation were confirmed during our subsequent test ride. As mentioned before, the models didn't feel like small, unstable folding bikes, but rather like fully-fledged bicycles. Therefore, we look forward to an extensive test ride as soon as the E-MAX models become available. We will report back here then."
